The following circular letter printed on the company’s official letterhead and signed on behalf of the
Management Board by Mr. Renco Miletić was received on 2/10/2005. The undated
circular letter is self-explanatory.
However, there are still questions to be clarified as to the issue of swinging activities within a reputable naturist resort that had been operating for thirty-three years (4/30/1971 - 9/30/2004) without any apparent problems.
When and how did swingers enter the resort? Did the management react immediately by expelling them from the site?
We understand the so-called naturist swingers showed up in the summer of 2004 shortly after the end of the annual Alps Adriatic Meeting.
Are we right in our assumption?
Dear Guests,
For the past 30 years of its work, Monsena has with your help, its loyal guests, created a recognizable name on the naturist market. Monsena has given beautiful moments of holidays and relaxation at sea and in the sun to many generations of naturists. The spirit of freedom adorning Monsena has provided a sanctuary to many naturism and nature lovers.
Monsena is today a part of Adria Resorts, a company that, in addition to this settlement, also has 9 hotels, 6 apartment settlements and 6 camps in Rovinj and Vrsar.
With the aim of maintaining a strong position on the market and ensuring the continuation of a successful, traditionbased business of the company from which it originated, Adria Resorts has begun creating new concepts of the settlements on its premises.
It is the intention of Adria Resorts to further develop its portfolio of naturist services, in line with new trends on the naturist market. These include a concentration on large high quality holiday parks of high capacity with rich content and with accommodation and service of premium quality. Accordingly, a decision has been reached regarding the future of certain camps in the ownership of Adria Resorts. Monsena as a settlement and camp does not correspond to the profile of premises, and shall be repositioned next year as a “textile” tourist product, named AMARIN. This tourist settlement and camp shall open in 2005.
The continuation of the naturist tradition offerings in the destinations of Adria Resorts shall be during the next development cycle secured and improved by means of development of the Koversada naturist park within which the naturist offering shall be elevated to a level of higher quality and so Koversada shall become the leading park of this type in the region.
We thank you, our loyal, respected guests for your long-standing confidence, and it is our sincere wish that, through the improvement of our tourist products, that we shall continue to earn your confidence.
Therefore, we cordially invite you to the Amarin tourist settlement and camp next year. You will find that the same warm welcome that you have come to expect in previous year will await you. The residence conditions in the tourist settlement and camp Amarin shall be improved, in order to be consistent with the change of the project itself, including the abolition of naturism.
Also, if you have a continued interest in naturism, we warmly invite you to our Koversada naturist park. The latter park is situated in Vrsar and will replace Monsena in the best possible way with its rich offering of sports facilities, restaurants and exciting daily activities.
We ask you for your understanding and send our warmest regards, and look forward to welcoming you again next year on one of our premises.
