Free Beaches organised a national celebration of
the full moon in our mid-summer, on 8th February 2012. It was called
"Skinny-dipping down a moonbeam".
The concept was simple and was to encourage
naturists to go to a beach near them as the full moon rose over the horizon. For
us it was about 8.30 p.m..
We gained a lot of national media interest, and the
feed back indicated that a lot of people did go to the beaches and swam au
naturel down the moonbeam.
Our invitation to you is to make this an
international event, at the appropriate time in your summer. It may be too late
to place it on your calendar for 2012, but it would be great to have it as a
fixture for 2012/2013.
Our media release and the poster we used are
attached. As you will see we were appealing to more than just "club" members to
join us and celebrate.
It is such a beautiful concept - enjoying swimming
au naturel along a rippling silver path, created by the ivory globe, across the
dark blue, liquid silk of the sea, until it meets the golden sands.
I would love to hear back from you.
